04 Jan Gilbert’s Risk Solutions Gives Back to the Community
With Covid-19 making it hard to gather, Gilbert’s Risk Solutions has decided that in lieu of an annual Christmas party, the owners and staff wanted to give back to the community. Gilbert’s president Lew Kachulis says “Contributing to our local communities, foundations, and charitable organizations has always been one of our core values and a high priority for all of us.” Charitable support has been more important then ever in recent times.
The following organizations, picked by the staff, were the recipients of varying amounts in donations:
- American Heart Association
- Penn Northwest Development Corporation, Hermitage, PA
- Community Food Warehouse, Sharon, PA
- Joshua’s Haven, Farrell, PA
- Hour of Power Church, Farrell, PA (P:(724) 347-6937)
- Dr. G’s Adopt a Grandparent Program
These donations are just part of Gilbert’s community commitment. In addition, every employee is offered a fully paid Volunteer Time Off day so they can participate in the community. Employees are also able to participate in a monthly charitable Casual for a Cause program by contributing to a designated charity.
